A wine made from fruit harvested in the first week of April, after the cool summer and long warm autumn days, when the grapes showed intense flavours and ripeness. The aromas are a wonderful melange of cinnamon and clove, rose-petal and musk, with tones of lychee, which follow through to the richly flavoured palate, which is balanced carefully with fine acidity and a dry finish. A wine which will develop beautifully for 8-10 years.
